The in-form frontman has been the subject of much speculation in the past 18 months, with big-money moves to Manchester United and Bayern Munich often being mooted.
Dortmund executive Zorc has now come out to confirm the 24-year-old will not be extending his current deal at the Westfalenstadion, and could possibly leave Die Schwarzgelben at the end of the current campaign.
"Robert will not renew his contract, he will leave either this summer or in the summer of 2014," Zorc told German Sky.
"His contract runs until 2014. There are two options. Either he goes in June or he stays for another year."
Lewandowski has been consistently linked to Premier League leaders Manchester United in the past few transfer windows, but recent reports out of Germany have placed Bavarian giants Bayern Munich as the frontrunners for the player's signature.
