The Bavarian giants lead the way in the Bundesliga this season, with Saturday's 2-0 derby win over Augsburg taking them 11 points clear of Bayer Leverkusen at the summit.
Dortmund, meanwhile, are in third place after their title hopes were dented following a 3-2 home defeat to Wolfsburg.
Muller, who opened the scoring for Bayern from the penalty spot, believes Leverkusen are now their main challengers after declaring that Jurgen Klopp's side have no chance of winning a third successive league title.
"If I were a Dortmund player, I would not be talking about the title anymore with 14 points to make up," said the Germany international.
"Leverkusen are now our main rivals."
