Paris St-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has heaped praise on his side after a run of form that has seen them climb to the Ligue 1 summit.

The Parisiens beat Lille 1-0 at the Parc des Princes at the weekend, adding to a run of results that has seen them lose just once in their last 10 matches in all competitions, winning all the others.
Despite needing an own goal from Aurelien Chedjou to secure victory over Les Dogues, Ancelotti believes his charges showed some grit to get the win even if they weren't at their best.
"It was very difficult but this victory is very important," the Italian told the club's official website. "Lille had a good game. For our part, we made a very good start but then it became more difficult to find space.
"The match was balanced but winning was the most important thing. We have now won nine of our last 10 matches in all competitions, and I can say 'hats off' to the team.
"We are strong. We must look at creating more speed and being more aggressive, but we are doing well defensively."
PSG are chasing their first league title in a decade, having last tasted success in the 1993/94 season.
