Inter director Marco Branca recently announced that Sneijder would not play for the team again until he agreed to a new deal.

This, despite the Dutch international's current contract at the San Siro only coming to an end in June 2015.

The Nerazzurri have also been accused of blackmailing the midfielder into signing a new deal that would see him take a pay cut.

The drama surrounding Sneijder's situation sets the stage for the big-spending Parisians to swoop in and rescue the 28-year-old.

Ancelotti, however, has ruled a potential move for the former Real Madrid and Ajax star in the upcoming transfer window.

"The transfer window for PSG is very clear: the only arrival will be Lucas, there will not be any more," the Italian told the press on Monday.

"Sneijder has the profile to play at clubs all around the world. But that does not mean he will come here. He will not come here, that's for sure. Some people may go, however."
