The full-back has not featured for the Catalans since February 2012, and underwent a full liver transplant two months later which has kept him out of training until recently.
He had first undergone a partial liver transplant in 2011 after the discovery of a tumour, but seems to have come back successfully following this latest operation.
A statement on the club's website on Thursday read: "After training this morning, Eric has received the good news that he has now been given the all-clear.
"He will be available for the team to take part for the rest of the season."
The Frenchman will now return for the Blaugrana for the rest of the season, but is unlikely to feature in the upcoming La Liga fixture against Sevilla.
