Iniesta has been in sparkling form this season, scoring two and setting up no less than 13 goals in just 17 La Liga matches for the Catalans, and Messi did not hide his admiration for the 28-year-old.
"Andres does everything well. He's getting better and better as the years go by, he's won it all and I'm extremely lucky to play alongside him," he said.
"I enjoy watching what he does on the pitch, whether in matches or in training sessions - he's a joy to behold."
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner also spoke about the Blaugrana's philosophy, and stated that it is about a common idea as opposed to promoting the individual.
"It isn't about a specific coach," explanied Messi. "It's based on an idea, a top-down line of thinking that all the coaches follow. That's always been the way the academy has been run."
