Cristiano Ronaldo is adamant that doping is non-existent in football, citing the collective nature of the sport as the reason for his belief.

Inaki Badiola, former president of Real Sociedad, claimed recently that the club purchased illegal substances between 2001 and 2007, allegations the Basque outfit have moved to deny.
And Real Madrid star Ronaldo feels that performance-enhancing drugs would not make a difference as football is a team sport, but admits that there is a possibility that some players may have taken stimulants to improve their individual performance.
"It's a very delicate situation, but I don't think there is doping in football," the 28-year-old striker was quoted as saying by AS.
"It's a collective sport and I don't think it's necessary to resort to doping to improve your performances. But I can't swear that no-one has done it.
"Is football a clean sport? Yes, 100 percent. I don't think these types of things exist."
