Los Blancos are on a 31-match unbeaten run on home soil in all competitions, and manager Jose Mourinho will undoubtedly be targeting more of the same.

However, he has a number of injury and suspensions to contend with for the crunch clash and will be be forced to ring the changes.

Cristiano Ronaldo picked up an ankle knock in Sunday's La Liga victory over Getafe, but is expected to shrug off the problerm in time for the midweek encounter.

Goalkeeper Iker Casillas (broken hand) and defender Pepe (ankle) will miss out, while Sergio Ramos, Fabio Coentrao and Angel Di Maria are all ruled out through suspension.

New signing Diego Lopez could be handed his first start in goal after joining the club from Sevilla last week.

Barca coach Tito Vilanova is boosted by the return of defender Gerard Pique following a suspension.

Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas will most likjely be handed starting berths after being rested for the 5-1 victory over Osasuna on Sunday.
