With over 300 official appearances for Los Blancos since his arrival from Sevilla in 2005, Ramos has become a stalwart in the Madrid squad.
The 26-year-old claims he isn't fazed at having to take on the responsibility that comes with being a senior member of the team.
"I feel like a veteran because of the time I've been at the club. The level of responsibility is getting bigger," the defender told the club's official website.
Ramos also spoke of his disappointment at missing out on their Copa del Rey first-leg encounter with Barcelona in midweek due a five-match suspension he received for insulting a referee earlier in the month.
"There are a lot of things that I don't understand and I'm not going to talk about them," the Spain international said. "I need to keep quiet and do my talking on the pitch. It's a shame I can't play in this match.
"We must remain calm because it's two matches and a great team. The two matches will see some beautiful football."
