The Galacticos have fallen well off the pace of La Liga leaders Barcelona, with Jose Mourinho's men currently third in the standings, some 15 points behind their bitter rivals.

Real do, however, appear to be regaining their footing in the league, having gone undefeated in the league in 2013, winning two and drawing one, while their most recent La Liga outing saw the defending champions thrash Valencia 5-0.

The capital club also have a Copa del Rey semi-final against Barca to look forward to, having seen off Valencia 3-1 on aggregate in the last-eight.

Getafe, meanwhile, find themselves sitting 11th in the standings, having failed to win any of their last six, drawing four and losing the other two.

On the team front, the hosts will be without defensive due Pepe and Sergio Ramos through injury and suspension respectively, although they prove the only two concerns for manager Jose Mourinho.

Getafe, meanwhile, will have to make do without Lafita, Mane and Pedro Leon.
