The 27-year-old's deal with Real is only set to expire in 2015, although he has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu following the side's woeful form this season.

The goalless draw against basement side Osasuna on Saturday left Los Merengues a whopping 18 points behind leaders Barcelona with more than half the season already completed.

Ronaldo, though, insists he is committed to the club, but admits in the future a move away from Spain could be on the cards.

"I want to see out my contract at Real Madrid - I'm very clear about that," the Portuguese star told FIFA's website.

"After that, well, I don't know what'll happen in the future."

Shifting his attention from the Primera Liga to the UEFA Champions League, Ronaldo is confident Madrid can put their domestic form aside and see off his former employers Manchester United in the last-16.

"Every Madridista wants that 10th European Cup - we're more than aware of that," he said.

"It's not going to be easy and I reckon the odds are about 50-50, but I'm still very confident.

"Manchester United have started the English championship race very well and are a long way ahead of the rest, but still, if we play the way we're capable of, we can beat them."
