Falcao's prolific form for Los Rojiblancos since making his switch from FC Porto in 2011 has seen him become one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe.

The Columbia international has repeatedly been linked with a big-money transfer to Chelsea, although his hefty price could ward off even the most determined suitor.

Not so for the big-spending PSG, who proved that when they splashed out around €20million to lure Ibrahimovic to Paris from AC Milan ahead of the 2012/13 campaign.

And the idea of also becoming part of Carlo Ancelotti's long-term plans at Parc des Princes appeals to Falcao.

"France is a wonderful country," the 26-year-old striker told Telefoot. "I have been there before and I liked it very much.

"PSG has a very ambitious project and has invested a lot of money to build an important team. They are going to need some time but they could reach their objective very soon.

"It's not impossible that PSG and me see each other very soon."

As for the prospect of leading PSG's attack alongside Ibrahimovic, Falcao added: "I have always followed the career of Zlatan, it has been incredible.

"He has had success in all the leagues in which he has played. He is a fantastic player and has scored many goals.

"I like to be in a situation of competing with this kind of player. But my principle objective is to be better every day."
