The 27-year-old has been angling for a move away from Rojiblancos after refusing to extend his current deal, which expires on June 30.
Juve have now been credited with serious interest in the Spain international, with Bilbao releasing a statement which read: "(Juventus) will begin negotiations with (Llorente) to incorporate him into its squad."
Llorente was part of the 2010 World Cup and 2012 European Championships-winning Spain squad, but is now looking to add some club honours to his cabinet after managing four runners-up finishes with Bilbao in the Spanish Cup (2008/09, 2011/12), the Spanish Supercup (2009) and the Europa League (2011/12).
