Barca currently top the La Liga standings by six points following their undefeated start to the season, with Tito Vilanova's men having failed to win on just one occasion this term.

The Catalan giants have also racked up an astonishing 50 goals in their opening 15 league matches, although they have conceded 17 in that time.

Atletico, meanwhile, have tasted defeat twice already this season, although Diego Simeone's men are comfortably in second, five points ahead of Real Madrid.

On the team front, Barca ace David Villa looks to have fully recovered from his leg break in 2011, playing 84 minutes last time out, while goal scoring machine Lionel Messi, who notched up goals number 87 and 88 of 2012 in the 2-0 Copa Del Rey win over Cordoba on Wednesday.

Los Colchoneros, meanwhile, will again be looking to Falcao for the goals, with the highly rated striker having fired home five in the 6-0 win over Deportivo last time out.
