Athletic Bilbao manager Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that the club will not be selling contract-rebel Fernando Llorente in January.

The Spain international announced that he would not be signing a new deal with the Basque outfit, and has started just one game this term.
Los Leones fans have been vocal about their unhappiness at the striker's unwillingness to sign a new deal.
Bielsa has since reiterated Athletic's stance regarding the situation, and has maintained that Llorente was still an important part of his plans.
"Llorente is an important player in this club and we need his presence this season," said Bielsa.
"The club have decided that he follows with us until June, and that is good for the squad."
