The Biancocelesti host the Serie A champions for their return leg after earning a crucial 1-1 away draw at the Juventus Stadium a week ago.
And Mauri feels his side have what it takes to reach this year's final ahead of the Bianconeri.
"The Juve game is worth a great deal," he told reporters. "It's important to get to the Coppa Italia final.
"We've overcome every hurdle with ease so far, aside from the Siena game. We've won the trophy in the past and it's something we want to do again. It would represent a special feeling, for us and for the entire city."
The Italy international believes the capital club have greatly benefitted from the winter break going into the midweek encounter, claiming the congested football calendar can often take its toll on team performances.
"It's not easy playing every three days, because you're never able to work to your full capacity," he said. "Having said that, we've had a good opportunity to recharge our batteries over the holidays."
