Juventus have confirmed that striker Nicklas Bendtner had successful surgery on the thigh he injured in last Wednesday's Coppa Italia clash with Cagliari.

Bendtner, on a season-long loan from Arsenal, was treated by Gunners consultant Ernst Schilders in London.
The Danish striker has failed to really make an impact at the Serie A champions and this will further hamper his chances of resurrecting his frankly disappointing career.
The 24-year-old has made nine appearances for the Bianconeri and is yet to score.
