The 34-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Bianconeri in July, having enjoyed three glittering years with Inter Milan.
But since the move to Turin, Lucio has made just three appearances for the Serie A champions and has expressed his desire to leave in search of regular first-team football, even hinting at a return to the Bundesliga.
"(Juve coach Antonio) Conte doesn't pick me, so I want to leave," said the veteran centre-back.
"I'm not happy in Turin because I'm not playing. These have been some difficult months because the coach doesn't consider picking me. I want to leave and find a club that will let me play.
"Wolfsburg? That would be a good opportunity. I spent a lot of great years in Germany.
"If I started talking about returning to Germany my children would get really excited."
