Massimiliano Allegri is confident Saturday's 5-1 thrashing of Chievo is just the tonic his AC Milan side needs to revitalise their season.

The Rossoneri powered their way to only their fourth win of the Serie A campaign with goals from Urby Emanuelson, Riccardo Montolivo, Bojan Krkic, Stephan El Shaarawy and Giampaolo Pazzini.
It's been a disappointing season thus far for Milan, who already trail leaders Juventus by 14 points - a far cry from their tight title race with the Old Lady last term.
Allegri, however, is relieved to have his team firing on all cylinders once again after their recent trials and tribulations.
"The team played well from start to finish," he said after the match.
"Technically and physically, we were in good shape and above all every player was at my disposal. It's an important thing to choose the right team.
"After a period of crisis, we really needed a night like this and deserved it too. We still have to improve in some aspects, but we're on the right track to achieve something in a season that did not start well.
"So far we have been penalised by absences, though of course I too made mistakes. I also made them in the year we won the Scudetto."
