Known as 'Chicharito', the striker has enjoyed a fruitful campaign for the Red Devils this season, netting 15 goals in all competitions despite featuring mainly from the bench.

With limited spots available upfront at Old Trafford since the arrival of top-scorer Robin van Persie, rumours have circulated that Hernandez could possibly leave United in an effort to get more game-time.

The 24-year-old's representative, though, has since come out to quash the speculation, as he believes the time is not right for him to leave.

"Javier is thinking about his season in United. We are both not thinking about the market rumours," Eduardo Hernandez told ESPN Radio.

"It's true that in Manchester there is a lot of competition, but the boy has always played in a good way. For this reason I think that this isn't the right moment to leave."

Recent reports have linked Hernandez to Spanish giants Real Madrid, with Jose Mourinho said to be an admirer of the former Guadalajara ace's attacking instincts.
