Chelsea skipper John Terry has admitted his side made hard work of their 2-1 aggregate win over Sparta Prague on Thursday.

The Blues progressed to the next round of the Europa League after Eden Hazard's injury time goal leveled the match at one a-piece, with the London club progressing on goal difference.
Terry admitted that his side's dogged persistence ultimately secured the tie, after the game seemed destined to go into extra time before the former-Lille forward struck from 20 yards at Stamford Bridge.
"We showed that in the last minute tonight (our persistence)," the Chelsea skipper told ESPN after the game.
"We kept going and going and going. The first 80 minutes nothing went for us and really we had a lot of attempts on goal and didn't get it, but the persistence from the lads was fantastic and you know credit to us."
The former England captain also said the disappointment in being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League was added motivation to do well in Europe's second-tier competition.
"It was an absolute must for us," he said. "We're very disappointed to be out of the Champions League and watching it you know Wednesday and Tuesday nights is disappointing, but that's enough motivation for us to kick on in this competition.
"We are in it to win it and nothing changes from that. After that we've got a chance with the Super Cup. There's still some big competitions to play for."
Terry also praised his Belgian colleague for his tie-winning goal, admitting the Blues squad depth is an added bonus in their quest to end the season with silverware.
"Great goal from Eden. The manager rested a couple tonight and you know the likes of Eden on the bench, he's great to have when he comes on," he added.
"He showed great sharpness and got the goal to top it off."
