Chelsea are reportedly in "advanced negotiations" to bring highly rated Chilean midfielder Cristian Cuevas to Stamford Bridge.

According to the 17-year-old's agent, a deal is close to being reached and Cuevas' club, O'Higgins, have confirmed that talks have been held with the Blues over a possible move in the off-season.
"The negotiations are very advanced with Chelsea," Valenzuela told Al Aire Libre en Cooperativa. "There are still a few details, but the situation is very advanced."
Chelsea are long-time admirers of the youngster and Valenzuela is confident he can be a success at the London club.
"We have been working on this for a while, the idea is that players can leave Chile and be successful," he said.
