The Kenya international has been the subject of much speculation recently following impressive displays for Celtic this season, with talk linking him with a £12million move to Old Trafford.

The midfielder, however, was quick to deny the rumours, claiming he would prefer to see out the current campaign with the Bhoys before considering his next move.

"A lot has been said about my intended move but I have not given it much thought and even my manager feels I should play until the end of the season for Celtic," he told the Daily Record.

"Then, from that point, the doors can be open for a move. [But] I can confirm to you that I will be at Celtic.

"We are playing well and our Champions League dream is on right now, so I am looking forward to the big game against Juventus."

With the rumoured move to the Red Devils seemingly quashed, Wanyama will now turn his attention back to domestic duties with his Glasgow club.

The Bhoys also resume their UEFA Champions League challenge with a first leg home tie against Juventus on February 12.
