Rafael Benitez has admitted to having discussed his reservations over Chelsea's squad-depth for the 2012/13 campaign with billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.

Benitez has also revealed the lack of adequate player resources at Stamford Bridge has hampered their efforts to contest for multiple titles this season.
The Blues were dumped out of the Capital One Cup in midweek by Swansea, which followed on from their Champions League group round exit and Club World Cup final defeat.
Confirming he had spoken to Abramovich about transfer targets last week, Benitez said: "We had a good conversation the other day but I have to concentrate on football and the game and tactics and all these things. That is my job."
Without going into specifics, the Blues interim boss has also claimed that he has voiced his concerns over his perceived squad inefficiencies.
"Yeah, I know. When I talked with them [the board], I gave them my opinion and the club, they listened to me," Benitez said. "They gave me their opinion, so we share opinions and we have these conversations and that's it."
The Blues have off-loaded England striker Daniel Sturridge to Liverpool, and brought in Senegalese hitman Demba Ba from Newcastle, in the January transfer window.
Benitez, however, reckons his recent recruitment drive is far different to that of his predecessor Roberto Di Matteo, who brought in the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar during the off-season.
"The money that was spent before and was spent recently is different, and the other teams are also stronger, they are spending money," the Spaniard explained.
"When you analyse the stats, you have to put in context or they don't have any value. It's not just about winning trophies.
"It's a key part of the game but the way and the tools that you have to win these trophies, that is the key."
