Harry Redknapp's side are currently undefeated in their last five games in all competitions, having started off that run with a 1-0 win at Chelsea, while they most recently held West Ham to a 1-1 draw at Upton Park.

The London side are, however, rock-bottom of the Premier League, four-points behind second-last Wigan and a further one adrift of safety.

A deep run in football's oldest cup competition might just be the tonic the Hoops need though, and they'll be hoping to book their place in the fifth round when they welcome League One's MK Dons to Loftus Road.

Karl Robinson's side are currently in the hunt for a play-off place in England's third division, with the 1-1 draw against Bury on January 12 leaving the side seventh in the standings, three-points behind sixth-placed Bournemouth.

In team news, Ryan Nelsen could play his penultimate match for QPR after announcing his intentions to take up the full-time coaching role with Major League Soccer club Toronto FC after the league clash against Manchester City on January 29.

Newly signed striker Loic Remy is doubtful to make his debut though as he joined Rangers with a thigh strain, although Redknapp is set to welcome Esteban Granero and Armand Traore back from injury.

Definitely out is Samba Diakite, who is at the Africa Cup of Nations with Mali, while Jose Bosingwa (back), Andrew Johnson (knee) and Bobby Zamora (hip) remain long-term absentees.
