In-form forward Michu has penned a new four-year contract with Swansea ahead of their crucial Capital One Cup semi-final return leg fixture against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The Spaniard has been the subject of much speculation since his stellar start to life in the Premier League, with moves to bigger clubs being widely touted following his 13 league goals so far this season.
The announcement will provide a timely boost for Michael Laudrup's men in their effort to continue their already impressive season.
"It was an easy decision for me. I am living a dream here at Swansea," he told the club's official website. "I'm really happy here in the city with the people, the club and the fans. Everyone has been so nice to me since I arrived."
The 26-year-old is in line for his first call up to the Spain squad for next month's friendly against Uruguay after some exciting displays this season.
The former Rayo Vallecano frontman has claimed he is loving life too much at the Liberty Stadium to pay any attention to the speculation surrounding his future, and hopes the Welsh side's good fortune will continue in their match against the European champions at Stamford Bridge.
"I'm probably enjoying my football more than ever. It's easy to play with this team and tonight I have the chance to reach the first final of my career," he said. "I think the club are happy with me because they have given me a new contract. I am certainly happy with the club.
"I've read and listened to all the speculation, but it doesn't interest me, and that's why I've signed a new contract.
"I'm enjoying myself too much because the team always tries to play football. All I think about is the next game and helping Swansea be successful. This is my life."
