Wenger & Benitez: In the same boat?

Wenger's men make the short trip to west London with the Blues having failed to win any of their home matches this year, losing against QPR and Swansea before relinquishing a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Southampton in midweek.

The latest result elicited boos and jeers from the club's already unhappy supporters directed towards Benitez, and although Wenger this week expressed sympathy for his counterpart's predicament, the Frenchman insists that come the kick-off, victory will be the only thing on his mind.

"I feel sympathy for every manager until the day I play against him," Wenger said.

"Then the sympathy goes and comes back after the game - not always straight after the game, sometimes it is some time later. We are all in the same position.

"We know we are in a fragile job and that the confidence is very important, but it is a job where you have to take care of your own team."

He added: "Both teams have attacking styles. Chelsea is today a team who has many good attacking players so it should be a game with goal chances.

"We will not change our style too much, so we will try to attack and try to create chances."
