Manchester City midfielder David Silva believes the side cannot afford to lose even one more Premier League match if they hope to overtake Manchester United in the title race this season.

The Citizens were able to cut the Red Devils' lead at the top back down to seven points following the 2-0 victory at Arsenal on Sunday, with Sir Alex Ferguson's men having beaten Liverpool 2-1 earlier that same day.
And with 22 league games already down this season, Silva knows the importance of keeping the pressure on the leaders as they head into the business end of the campaign.
When asked if the team felt they cannot afford to lose again, Silva said: "Yes, because if we lose, then suddenly the gap is 10 points and that is when it gets really difficult.
"But if we keep fighting we hope that they will falter."
He added: "All we can do, whatever the gap is, is keep going, every game, and put them under the pressure of knowing that if they lose a game or drop any points, we will get closer to them.
"That works the other way, of course, too, because if we lose we will get further away, but we cannot think about that. We just have to continue as we are. The league is still there to be won."
