Lewis Holtby could be set to join Tottenham six months ahead of schedule if the Premier League club are open to the move.

The Germany international agreed to link up with Andre Villas-Boas' side when his contract expires in July, subject to him passing a medical.
But Schalke managing director Horst Heldt has revealed the Bundesliga outfit would be willing to allow him to move in January, if they can find a suitable replacement.
Heldt was quoted in the Daily Mail as saying: "If Tottenham ask for Holtby in the January window, we will talk to them about it. Nothing has happened yet, but, from our point of view, we are prepared to speak to them.
"It would have to be done quickly, because we would have to find a replacement for him."
The 22-year-old, who has an English father from Liverpool, is the current German Under-21 captain and has made three appearances for the senior international team.
