The Spaniard has turned out to be an astute signing for the Swans after banging in 13 Premier League goals following his switch from Rayo Vallecano in the off-season.

His goal-scoring exploits has attracted reported interest from Arsenal, as well as Russian Premier League rivals Zenit St Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkala.

However, Laudrup is not about to entertain any offers for Michu as the Dane is fully aware he will struggle to find a suitable replacement for the 26-year-old at this stage of the campaign.

"There is no way he will leave. It is absolutely out of the question," said the Swans boss.

"One reason is because it is so difficult to get someone in right now, and the second is that he is happy here and doesn't want to leave.

"Newcastle have just lost their top scorer mid-season and that is obviously very bad, especially because it is not easy to find a guy who scores goals like him."
