Joe Cole is set to rejoin his boyhood club West Ham in a reported free transfer from Liverpool in the coming days.

The Hammers are looking to finalise the deal for the midfielder before Friday that will make him eligible to play against Manchester United on the weekend in the FA Cup third round at Upton Park.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers said: "He is speaking with West Ham and if they can get something organised it will be a terrific move for Joe."
The Merseysiders are willing to cancel Cole's contract and pay a settlement of £3million on his contract, which will see him move to London on a permanent basis.
The 31-year-old has struggled during his time at Anfield, which has only seen him make 42 appearances for the club, in between a loan move to Lille in France last season.
The former Chelsea star was also linked with QPR, with his former Irons boss, Harry Redknapp inquiring about working together again.
Redknapp had said: "I love Joe. I signed him when he was 11 years old at West Ham and I spoke to him. He was keen to come and he is a great lad.
"He would be great around the place - he is a great player - but West Ham came in at the last moment and it was difficult because West Ham is his club and you will always associate Joe with them.
"That is where he started out. The fans will love having him back there and I wish him all the best because he is a fantastic boy."
It has been reported that Cole has already undergone a medical, and if the east Londoners can secure the deal for him in time, manager Sam Allardyce will sure to have the player in his plans to face United this Saturday.
