Rafael Benitez has no doubt Fernando Torres will continue to play an important role for Chelsea, even if he is consigned to a bench role in the coming months.

The 28-year-old has rediscovered something like his previous best form since the appointment of his former Liverpool manager, scoring seven goals in his last six games for the Blues.
But with Torres having started every Premier League game this season, coupled with Victor Moses heading to the Africa Cup of Nations, Benitez has revealed the club intends to strengthen with some more firepower in attack, a move which could lead to Torres being used in rotation.
Demba Ba, Radamel Falcao and Andre Schurrle have all been linked with a move to west London, with that list set to grow with the opening of the January transfer window.
Benitez said: "We are trying to manage the team so when I can change Fernando I will do it.
"We will try to manage him and hopefully we can do things properly. He wants the team winning games and he understands that is the way so he will accept this."
Chelsea are also set to lose John Obi Mikel for at least three weeks as he heads to South Africa with Nigeria, with Benitez adding: "You can always improve things, especially when you have injuries, and we lose two players to the African Nations Cup.
"Obviously we need bodies but I am really pleased with the squad, they train well, the commitment is there and they are keen to learn.
"I think we will do our job (in the window) and hopefully it will be a good job."
