Norwich have been in fine form following a slow start to the season, going on a 10-match unbeaten run before suffering a 2-1 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion.

Manager Chris Hughton will be without Andrew Surman and John Ruddy as the pair are still recovering from knee and thigh injuries respectively.

Striker Grant Holt is expected to be back in the side after missing the trip to the Hawthornes on Saturday. Ryan Benett and Harry Kane are not expected to be in contention on Boxing Day.

Chelsea have missed Premier League action since their 3-1 win away at Sunderland early in December, and made a fine comeback to the top-flight by hammering Aston Villa 8-0 on Sunday evening.

Gary Cahill and Ramires made their returns to the side after serving respective bans, with Ramires netting twice on his return from the bench.

John Terry is back in training, but is unlikely to feature in any of Chelsea's festive fixtures.

Daniel Sturridge is on the verge of completing a move to Liverpool and is unlikely to feature for Chelsea after undergoing a medical at Melwood on Sunday.

Oiol Romeu is still a long-term injury concern and will miss the rest of the season.
