Last week, the Blues became the first UEFA Champions League holders to be knocked out in the group stages following their crowning 2011/12 season.

The west Londoners have since travelled to Japan where they'll look to emulate Manchester United's 2008 triumph and become only the second English side to win the competition.

Benitez, who won the tournament with Inter Milan in 2010 after losing the 2005 final with Liverpool, claims he isn't sweating over an ultimatum to bring silverware back to Stamford Bridge.

"With the economic crisis around the world, everybody is under pressure," he told the media on Monday.

"I don't have a problem with pressure. The future is the next game and the one after that."

The Spaniard added: "It's a massive competition. Everybody here has the same idea as me - to win every trophy."

Benitez also played down his influence on Fernando Torres' goalscoring return, the striker having bagged a brace in successive matches recently.

"The manager can communicate with the players, yes, but when a player is in good form it's largely because of his team-mates," he said.
