City failed to reach their target of progressing from the group stages of the UEFA Champions League last month, fueling speculation that Mancini might be sacked in the near future.

One of the men linked with replacing the Italian is Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, who is said to have fallen out with the hierarchy at the Bernabeu.

The Portuguese tactician replaced Mancini once before at Inter Milan in 2008, but the former Italy international is confident this will not happen again.

"All this is not important for me," he told reporters. "I have been used to all this.

"I have read Mourinho is going to Paris St Germain, then Inter Milan, another day it's Manchester City, another day Manchester United, another day Chelsea.

"He is working well for this. I don't have any pressure here."
