Two late Michu goals secured a deserved three points for the Swans, leaving the Gunners in 10th position, 12 points off the summit.
Ahead of the busy Christmas period, Wenger was hoping to see his team starting the month on a positive note, but is now left with more questions than answers after a sub-standard showing at the Emirates.
"It's a concern because we didn't create a lot, we ran against a wall, our passing was not sharp and was not quick enough. We looked jaded. We gave it away by not being creative," Wenger said.
The Frenchman also has to deal with growing unease within the club's supporters.
He added: "Fans have an influence on us, but it is down to the team to get the fans behind them, the way we play has to create that.
"I can understand that [the boos] when we lose games the way we lost that."
