United beat Queen's Park Rangers on Saturday to move back to the top of the table following Manchester City's goalless draw at Chelsea.

Against QPR, the Red Devils conceded the first goal for the ninth time in 13 league matches, but bounced back to record their sixth win from such positions.

History favours Sir Alex Ferguson's side in this fixture: on 16 visits to Old Trafford during the Premier League era, the Hammers have won just twice.

Sam Allardyce's side come into the game in eighth position, having lost 3-1 to Tottenham on Sunday, with Andy Carroll netting his first goal for the club.

Paul Scholes is suspended, meaning Anderson is likely to start. Antonio Valencia has a hip concern but the winger is still hopeful of playing.

For the visiting side, Mark Noble is suspended, with left-back George McCartney doubtful after picking up an ankle injury against Spurs.

Yossi Benayoun is still out with a thigh problem. Jack Collison and Ricardo Vaz Te are also not available due to injury.
