The South Korea international has made an impressive start to the new season with Rothosen, his winner against Mainz on Saturday taking his tally to six goals from 12 games.
Son is contracted to Thorsten Fink's side until June 2014, but there have been suggestions he could depart the Imtech Arena for England during the January transfer window.
However, the 20-year-old, who came up through the club's youth system, insists he knows nothing of the exit rumours as his agent is keeping quiet on the matter.
He told Die Welt: "My agent won't tell me anything about it. It's difficult for me.
"I am under contract until 2014 and have to discuss things with my dad and my agent."
