The Reds Devils came back from two goals down to win 3-2 at Aston Villa last weekend to temporarily open up a four-point lead at the top.

Manchester City then narrowed the gap once again with a come-from-behind win of their own, a 2-1 victory over Tottenham on Sunday in Eastlands.

City can actually overtake their rivals with a win over Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Wayne Rooney (ankle) and Jonny Evans (groin) are United's major doubts for the trip to Carrow Road.

However, Robin van Persie is expected to be available for Sir Alex Ferguson's side after missing Holland's midweek friendly with Germany.

The 15th-placed Canaries, meanwhile, will again be without Russell Martin having missed the goalless draw at Reading with a back injury.

Alex Tettey, though, is expected to overcome a back problem of his own and should be available.

Otherwise, Chris Hughton has no other injury concerns and will be keen to see his side possibly stump the 19-time English champions.
