The Gunners have been off the boil on the domestic front this season, with last weekend's defeat to Manchester United leaving the north Londoners seventh in the standings, nine points behind the leaders.

Arsene Wenger's men also conceded a two-goal lead against Schalke in the Champions League on Tuesday to finish the game 2-2, a result which left the English side second in Group B.

The Cottagers, meanwhile, are only one league place lower than their weekend opponents, separated by goal difference, while a win for either side could take them up into the top-four, depending on results elsewhere on Saturday.

On the team front, Arsenal will be without the suspended Jack Wilshere following his red card against the Red Devils, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey are facing late fitness tests.

Wojciech Szczesny, meanwhile, is back to full fitness and could return between the sticks at the expense of Vito Mannone.

For Fulham, boss Martin Jol has no new injury concerns, although Mahamadou Diarra will be handed a late fitness test after being given a 50-50 chance of playing at the weekend.
