Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel was looking to deflect blame away from under-fire boss Andre Villas-Boas following their 1-0 loss to Wigan on Saturday.

Spurs were booed off the field having lost their second consecutive game in the Premier League, as well as failing to score for the first time since March 2011.

"Every single one of us needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror and hold our hands up. We didn't perform from minute one to minute 95," said Friedel.

"It was just a very lacklustre performance by us. We need to get a home form on track. It hasn't been good enough this season.

"We will have to go back and look at the video. Normally we have some positives and negatives but I have a feeling this one will be full of negatives. This was just not a Tottenham performance."
