West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has conceded that his dream of taking charge of a 'top four' club will have to remain just that - a dream.

Allardyce has previously spoken of his desire to manage a side in the top echelons of the game, even suggesting he was more suited to managing Real Madrid or Inter Milan than a club like West Ham.
The 58-year-old, who has also managed the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers, was also keen on taking the England job at one point.
But ahead of his side's clash with Manchester City this weekend, Allardyce has admitted his chance may have come and gone.
He said: "I won't ever be going to a top-four club so I think we'll just leave it at that.
"I don't ever comment on that anymore because other people will jump on the back of it and cause all sorts of columns to go here, there and everywhere.
"I can understand what I can do, I understand my ability as a manager and I just do my job to the best of my ability wherever I work."
During a successful spell as Blackburn boss in 2010, Allardyce said: "I'm not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to Inter or Real Madrid - it wouldn't be a problem to me to go and manage those clubs because I would win the double or the league every time."
