The Swede was sent off for a studs-up tackle at the Mestalla in their UEFA Champions League last-16 first-leg tie, a decision coach Carlo Ancelotti had considered 'harsh' at the time.
But it has now been confirmed by UEFA that Ibrahimovic will sit out an extra game for the incident, meaning the former Milan player will also miss the first-leg of the competition's quarter finals should Les Parisiens progress.
Ibrahimovic's manager Ancelotti had previously criticised the sending off, saying:
"Ibrahimovic's red card was not deserved. I don't understand it. It's not fair. I don't think that he deserved it because it was a normal tackle."
PSG welcome Los Che to the Parc des Princes next Wednesday looking to see off the Spaniards following their crucial 2-1 away win in the first leg.
