The Three Lions take on the Samba Kings in a June friendly this year ahead of the Confederations Cup, and have chosen the five-star Windsor Atlantica hotel on Copacabana Beach as a base for the exhibition game.
It has been revealed that Roy Hodgson will plan to return to the grand hotel provided the England national side qualify for football's biggest international tournament when it kicks off the following year.
The provisional headquarters contrasts greatly with the pick of Hodgson's predecessor Fabio Capello for the 2010 World Cup, who had opted for the rather sober setting of Rustenburg to that of cosmopolitan cities Durban or Cape Town in South Africa.
England are currently second in their World Cup qualifying group, sitting two points behind leaders Montenegro after four games, and travel to Podgorica next month to take on the early pace setters.
