After strengthening his squad considerably in the January transfer window, Pardew now has numerous options in all areas of the pitch and has targeted a strong end to this years campaign.
Following Sunday's impressive 4-2 win over Southampton, the Magpies now sit six points clear of the relegation zone and travel to Russia to play Anzhi Makhachkala in their Europa League last 16 first-leg tie next Thursday.
He told the Chronicle: "Obviously I've got to change personnel but now we've got the quality and depth to do it."
The depth of the current squad means a lot of quality players find themselves on the bench, but Pardew believes bringing these players on at crucial stages during a game and have an impact.
"We didn't have the strength we have now on the bench," he added.
"Perchie's [James Perch] come on against Southampton and looked controlled and shored us up.
"You've also got the quality of [Vernon] Anita coming onto the pitch - it makes a big difference."
