The Italy international was the subject of racially discriminatory chants while other supporters waved inflatable bananas in his direction.
However, the former Manchester City striker has also been fined 10,000 euros for directing a vulgar gesture at the Inter fans when departing the San Siro pitch following the 1-1 draw.
This is the third time since Balotelli's return to Italy that he has come under racial abuse, with Inter having recently been fined 20,000 euros when sections of the fans were noted singing racist songs about Balotelli.
