The former LA Galaxy star signed for the French giants during the January transfer window, but had been delayed in appearing for his new club as he continued to regain full fitness.
Beckham's debut for the Parisiens would come in the 76th minute of Sunday's game at the Parc des Princes, coming off the bench to help set up Zlatan Ibrahimovic's clinching goal.
Speaking after the game, Beckham said: "I'm very happy tonight, mainly because of the victory.
"We have played better but it was very important to win. Today was the perfect day, not only because I'm the 400th player in the history of the club, but also because I'm part of a very special team.
"It was a great match, the biggest in France. To have the opportunity at my age to play in such a great championship and with a great team, I am very happy and very proud."
Beckham also had kind words to share with the PSG faithful, thanking them for the great welcome he has received since moving to Paris.
"The welcome from the supporters was unbelievable, and I want to say thank you to them," he added.
