Chris Hughton's side have struggled for goals of late, having registered two goalless draws this month, scoring just one goal in their last four fixtures.

However, the return of Grant Holt following a minor back problem will provide the Canaries with some much-needed firepower up front.

While Norwich have performed relatively well this season since their promotion from the Championship last term, Hughton will still be keen to secure Premier League status as soon as possible after losing form since their last league win against Wigan back in December.

Everton, meanwhile, have shown contrasting form to their Saturday opponents, with the Toffees registering only one loss since the turn of the year in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United.

The blue half of Liverpool will be hoping to continue their bid for a European place this term, currently sitting one position outside the Europa League spot currently occupied by Arsenal.

On the team front, Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy will miss Saturday's encounter with a thigh strain.

There are also minor doubts surrounding Alexander Tettey and Andrew Surman, but both have an outside chance to feature.

Elsewhere, Everton striker Victor Anichebe faces a race against the clock following the knock he picked up in last week's FA Cup tie against Oldham.

Seamus Coleman, too, is out with a thigh injury, while full back John Stones will return after being cup-tied for the game at Boundary Park.
