The former Inter man was reportedly being chased by cross town rivals Milan during the winter transfer window as a possible replacement for Ignazio Abate, who's future remains uncertain at the San Siro.
However, the Italian has dismissed these reports, insisting he will not be following his former club-mate at Inter Mario Balotelli back to Italy's top flight.
An excellent first half of the season has seen the 22-year old recalled to the Italian national side and Santon insists he couldn't be happier plying his trade in the Premier League.
"At the moment this is the only place to play for me, there are not a lot of Italians in the Premier League, just Fabio Borini," Santon told the Evening Chronicle
"The Premier League is better than Serie A and better than La Liga. The fans here are the best."
