Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie is relishing the prospect of playing Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 in what will be his first match at the Bernabeu.

The prolific Dutchman is eagerly anticipating the clash and has described playing Los Blancos on their home ground as "beautiful."
The Red Devils travel to Madrid on February 13 for their first leg encounter, with the return fixture at Old Trafford three weeks later on March 5.
"The match against Madrid is the icing on the cake for every footballer," Van Persie said.
"It will be my first game at the Bernabeu, and I'm really looking forward to it.
"It will be a very nice challenge with the group of players we have.
"Manchester United are a big club and being in the last 16 is beautiful even without the prospect of playing Real Madrid."
